Counselling

Though delicate in appearance, the hummingbird carries immense strength - a reflection of the quiet resilience within us all.

Perhaps you’re feeling weighed down by the demands of daily life, overwhelmed and struggling to cope with stress, anxiety, depression or relationship challenges. There is support and when you feel ready, we can help you navigate these difficulties and  move towards greater clarity and direction.

At Harmony Therapy Practice we provide counselling (or psychotherapy depending on the level of intensity and frequency) in a space designed for reflection and personal growth. You’ll be welcomed into a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you are genuinely valued and heard. We understand that life’s challenges can leave you feeling lost or 'stuck', however we also believe in the innate power we each possess to change and grow, it’s just that we might need a little help to see this in ourselves sometimes.

Our integrative counselling is grounded in person-centred philosophy, with the focus being on the therapeutic relationship and honouring your individual needs. Together, you and your therapist will identify the methods that best support your wellbeing, recognising that “one size fits all” doesn’t work in therapy, we never expect you to fit a predetermined model, instead every stage of the therapeutic process is shaped around your unique experiences, goals and pace.

Practicing from a trauma-informed approach we ensure you feel safe and supported as we gently unpack and process your experiences. Our work together helps you build the insight and resilience that lead to meaningful, long-term change.

You deserve a life that aligns with your true values. Our role is to provide the time and space away from daily pressures to help you connect with your 'inner harmony' - and we are here to support you every step of the way.

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.  Carl Rogers
